Dear Editor,

Richard Health's excellent reporting on the battles over housing development have not only made me want to read the articles but leave me laughing. His careful observations not only note the absurdity of many of the objections but also the hypocrisy of some who oppose providing for more desperately needed housing.

Comments such as "Rogerson doesn't belong here,"

"a plan to raze an Emerald Necklace icon" or "I never heard anything about this project" leave me wondering if the opponents think nothing should ever change.
